You’ve Been Enabled! Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum

juno bottle only

It has been a very bumpy (and expensive) road on my way to finding a face oil that not only doesn’t ruin my skin, but actually maybe has a hand in improving it.

I ask my self why I kept trying when I had no luck, but I just knew there had to be the “one” out there for me too.

Once again it is amazing that for a product that routinely lets me down, I found it a great idea to go buy the most expensive one I could find. I introduce you to Sunday Riley’s Juno Transformative Serum.

It is antioxidant-rich serum made to perfect and soothe. Silk amino acids impart luster and plump-up parched skin. It is meant to restore the elasticity and tone. Also purports to protect from future environmental damage. These are all things I look for in a skin care product. Although it is called a serum, it’s consistency is more that of an oil.

What I like about it:

  • It absorbs quickly and really moisturizes
  • It really does provide a nice dewy glow
  • It does not break me out and I think almost keeps acne at bay
  • It hasn’t angered my skin whatsoever

What I don’t like about it:

  • The smell isn’t good, i feel like i am rubbing Italian dressing all over my face. I do not care for it
  • The price (i am starting to notice a theme..)

I use this oil as a booster for my moisturizer. I tend to like to pile the moisture on morning and night. This oil works very well with most moisturizers and provides a really dewy moist face without looking like i just rubbed me face in pizza for an hour.

I have used this oil morning and night for the last three months and I love it still. I have the attention span of a toddler when it comes to skincare products. So the fact I still use it is testament to its effectiveness.

A half to a full pump is all I need twice a day to keep my skin looking clear, even and well moisturized. In fact I have actually had a couple people tell me I have been looking really good lately and they aren’t sure why. I think this oil might have had a hand in it.

You can find it at a ebeauty.ca, eskincarestore or Sephora. Go buy it my enabled (and soon to be well moisturized) friends.
