Oskia Restoration Oil – A good dry oil option!

This is a review for Oskia Restoration Oil. This is the first product I have tried from Oskia but I don’t think it will be the last.

Oskia is a British brand that has a philosophy of only using naturally-derived, clean ingredients that are kind to skin & the environment. The ingredient list resembles the side of my vitamins. I am reassured by this. Why I dont know.

This is a great dry oil that took a while for me to get used to. I think most of the oils I have tried were of the much oilier variety. This one absorbs instantly and didn’t leave me looking like an oiled up wrestler. The first few times I used it I probably used way too much because it absorbed so quickly and my skin was matte. This oil contains African Acmella to increase suppleness, lupin and sea fennel to promote collagen production and boost elasticity, and anti-inflammatory turmeric which evens out skin tone for a radiant, healthy-looking complexion.

It also has starflower, sunflower seeds and evening primrose oil, to hydrate skin and restore the natural barrier function. I loved how quickly it sunk in to my skin and didn’t cause any breakouts. It left my skin super soft and slightly glowy. I was told I had a pregnancy glow. That could have just been the giant lunch I ate, not sure. I will take it as it being the oil’s doing. This oil is on the more expensive side but I see this bottle lasting a very long time. I have been using this twice daily before my moisturizer. I haven’t noticed much anti-aging or restorative effects yet but it does provide great moisture and glow. I will keep on with this and see what else comes from the lovely little bottle of expensive joy. I am really wanting to try the Oskia Renaissance Cleasning Gel next. Stay Tuned!
