Kypris Beauty Elixir

So i am finally back after a very long absence full of health woes and work. I am happy to be on the other side of most of that. It wasn’t that I didn’t manage to find time to try a bunch of new products in that time so now i can write about them. I wanted to talk about Krypris’ Beauty Elixir 1.

So it was the perfect time of year for me to try this face oil. The weather in Vancouver has been quite bizarre for here. Super cold, super snowy and super dry. Normal everywhere else for winter, not so much here. So between the weather, some health issues and added work stress (and perhaps some poor diet choices) my skin has been a hot mess. I needed to straighten it out without annoying it at all. Enter Beauty Elixir 1.

This is the first item I have tried from Kypris. After using this for a couple of months I would definitely look into purchasing more from Kypris. For those who are unfamiliar with Kyrpis, they describe themselves as is a luxurious line of holistic, high performance skin care boasting organic, wild-crafted, and sustainably grown ingredients for gorgeous results and Beauty-Full experiences. Hmmm ok sure.. Anyway it is a clean beauty brand not chock full of suspect ingredients.

They do have 3 Beauty Elixirs and I tried the #1 – 1000 Roses. First thing to note is this line (and this product) is spendy.. $225 for this wee bottle. The good news is it does last forever. I have been using it for the past 5 months and I have barely made a dent.

The formula itself is said to have the oil from 1000 roses in it. So obviously the scent is very rosey. But real rosey not synthetic rosey at all. The oil itself is quite rich and oily (not a dry oil) but it does sink into the skin very quickly. It is purported to be for skin challenged by time and the elements such as unruly hormones or pollution. It works to repair signs of environmental challenge to deliver dewy, glowing, rose-petal-soft skin. I would agree on the glowing dewy soft skin comment. I don’t know how much damage it has repaired but it has certainly helped to calm my freaked out skin down and worked to give it a nice dewy glow. I use it at night after cleansing, before moisturizer. I do find i wake up in the morning with soft, even and glowy skin.

Bottom line it has not broken my skin out, provided some nourishment and calming to my irritated, dull and unhappy skin and I am totally loving it. It is a heavier formula that might not serve as well in the hot humid weather but for this dry cold winter we are having, this is just what the doctor ordered. Unfortunately my love of this oil means I will likely purchase further Kypris products. I am sorry wallet.

If you are having issues trying to calm down your skin or if it doesn’t seem to have the even glow it might once have had, this is definitely worth a try!
